semi home-made spaghetti sauce

I made spaghetti for dinner tonight. The sauce came out even better than usual. So I thought I'd post what I did.

1 lb. ground beef browned
1 med. onion chopped
1/2 red bell pepper diced
1 jar spaghetti sauce (I used Kroger brand, garlic and parmesan I think)
1 15oz. can diced tomatoes Italian style
2 T sugar
small palm full Italian seasoning
1/4 t. basil
1/4 t. oregano
1/4 t. chili powder (more if you like it spicy)

I threw it all in the slow cooker, gave it a stir and let it go for 6 hours.
Boil some pasta and mix it all up.
